Rec whatever you want, whenever you want! These prompts are optional!

You can also pick freely from our list of rec prompts (e.g. gifsets with <100 reblogs, fics for a rarepair) and fill as many as you want.

For an extra challenge, you can generate a bingo card with prompts and try to get a five-in-a-row, or even a full blackout

If you are a creator, we have two special prompts for each Saturday during the fest:

January 14: Recommend someone else’s work by creating a new fanwork for / inspired by it

January 21: Recommend one of your own works

To rec something that the creator made an original post for on Tumblr, please reblog the original post. Include why you’re reccing it in your reblog, mention @kprecfest and tag #kprecfest.

To rec something originally posted somewhere other than Tumblr, create a new post with a link to the original work. Mention @kprecfest in your post and tag #kprecfest.

Do not repost any works (e.g. do not copy original art or cropped art into a new post; do not copy large portions of an original text into a new post).

If you want to make multiple recs in one post, please add a link to each original post in your rec, and consider reblogging all of the original posts in addition to your rec!

Example posts:

Post a link to the work you're reccing, tell us why you’re reccing it, and add #kprecfest and @kprecfest. Please do not repost/reupload.

Use #kprecfestNSFW instead of #kprecfest for anything that has a NSFW preview (if the work is explicit but the preview is not, you can use the regular #kprecfest tag).

Please do not @ or # the actors.

For your final bingo, use the hashtag #kprecfestbingo, and @kprecfest. Please link all your recs along with your bingo, either in the same tweet, or as part of the same tweet thread.

Example posts:

Create a bookmark for the work you’re reccing, include in your description why you’re reccing it, and add the bookmark to our collection. Instructions on how to make a bookmark.

Do not add works directly to the collection. Many authors do not appreciate their works being added directly, so create a bookmark instead and add that.

Mark your bookmark as a rec, and don’t mark it as private.

You are welcome to add bookmarks for works not on AO3, but you must link to the original work in your bookmark. Do not create a new AO3 work for it.

Post to the kprecfest community with your rec, the link, and tag with its rating (all other tags are optional)
